Shaded Pole Motor HD6025
The stator assembly of a shaded-pole motor consists of an iron core and primary and secondary windings; the secondary winding is the short-circuited ring, whose function is to generate magnetomotive force and to establish a rotating magnetic field in the air gap. The rotor comprises an iron core and squirrel-cage bars, which serve as the conductors of the rotor winding. When these bars cut through the rotating magnetic field in the air gap, they induce an electromotive force, generating induced current and electromagnetic torque, thereby achieving the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy. Shaded-pole motors feature a stable structure, reliable operation, low noise, and no electromagnetic interference. They are widely used in household appliances such as electric ovens, space heaters, air conditioners, fruit dryers, and microwave ovens.
